I have been teaching music in Canada and Brazil for over 30 years and have extensive experience teaching children ages 3 and up as well as adults. I am a classically trained musician with a dual Bachelor of Music degree in piano and organ with a minor in voice.

Believing that all students are unique and have their own musical talent, I respect differences in personality types and learning styles.  Adjusting my teaching to accommodate the needs of each student is a high priority for me!  At each session, I assess the student's progress and provide fun and unique strategies to motivate the student and help each one develop to his or her fullest potential as a musician.

In addition to teaching, I have served as the accompanist of The Kanata Choral Society since 2013.  I am also a regular pianist at the Metropolitan Bible Church and accompanist for other choirs in the National Capital Region. Throughout my career, I have also conducted children's choirs and presented pipe organ recitals.
